SCL National Conference this May 11-13

Supply Chain & Logistics Canada’s national conference kicks off May 11-13 at the Toronto Congress Centre.

The three-day event commences with tours of several leading supply chain masters, including Coca Cola Bottling Company, Sears Canada, Celestica, Grand & Toy and Maritime-Ontario Freight Lines and Schenker Canada.

Jason Martin, president of Navantis Inc, will deliver the opening keynote on May 12, speaking on evolving supply chain practices beyond linear interactions. The day ends with the keynote speech from Edward Sitarski, vice president, supply chain planning, PeopleSoft Canada.

The last day of the conference begins with an address from EmileKhan, senior security consultant, Bell Canada on information technology risk assessment. Robert Martichenko, vice president, logistics operations, Transfreight LLC will provide the lunch keynote.

May 12 and May 13 are also packed with concurrent sessions on issues ranging from managing change and the impact of the latest trucking hours of service to warehouse location strategies and forklift spec’ing practices.
