Senator Lines offers new Europe – Canada – Service

Senator Lines will now offer a new Europe-Canada-Service (ECS), with weekly sailings from Antwerp and Hamburg to Montreal.

“This is our answer to the wish of our long-standing customers,” says CEO Hans-Hermann Mohr, “to supply a fast and reliable connection of the Northern European markets including Scandinavia and the Baltic region with Canada.”

The new weekly service currently deploys 3 vessels with a capacity of approximately 1,500 TEU’ s each.

This new Europe-Canada-Service (ECS) aims to strengthen the line’s connection to the Canadian market. Back in the early nineties the Bremen based carrier widened its service network with the Mediterranean-Canada Service (MCS), which primarily transports West- Mediterranean cargo to Canada and the Midwest of the United States on 2 loops and a weekly schedule.

Via Gioia Tauro this service also offers a link to the Senator Lines network with ports of call in the East-Mediterranean, Adriatic, Black Sea, Red Sea, Mid-East Gulf, Indian subcontinent and other destinations in
Asia.
