Shipper Association NASSTRAC broadens scope to all market segments of transportation

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.-NASSTRAC has recently broadened its coverage to cover all modes and market segments of transportation. A shipper’s association founded in 1952, NASSTRAC historically has been focused primarily on LTL, small package, and parcel through advocacy, education, provider relationships, and professional networking initiatives.

“NASSTRAC has made a concentrated effort over the last two years to connect with members on their changing responsibilities and challenges, and how they mirror marketplace trends,” said executive director Brian Everett. “Our research fully supports the rationale of our decision to broaden our scope, as many of our members are now decision-makers in all modes of transportation and logistics. The association continues to simply react to shifts in the marketplace.”

“Although we will continue to provide support, services and education in our historic core areas of LTL, small package and parcel, we will bring members extended value in all areas of transportation, ranging from full truckload to containerization and global logistics,” said Everett.
