TNT Logistics North America appoints key managers in purchasing and transportation

TNT Logistics has made some key management appointments within the ranks of its North America operations.

Jim Krepp has been named director of purchasing. In his new role, he will direct the materials purchasing activities of TNT Logistics North America, which include warehouse equipment, trucking assets and general
supplies. Jim joined the company in 1997 and has served as director of managed transportation services the past two years. Prior to TNT, Jim held purchasing management positions with Ryder System and B.F. Goodrich Chemical. He holds a master of business administration degree from Case Western Reserve University.

Rick Thomas, an 11-year veteran of the company, succeeds Jim as director of managed transportation. In his new role, Rick will be responsible for the company’s purchased transportation service network. Rick served most recently as project manager for international operations.
Before that, he held several positions of increased responsibility within TNT, including business development manager, district manager, contract manager and operations manager. Rick has a business of science degree in
management from Florida State University and is the recipient of TNT’s 2003 Masters Award for exceptional on-the-job performance.
