Toyota builds on stability and productivity gains with new electric reach truck

by Canadian Shipper

Toyota Industrial Equipment has unveiled a new electric reach truck.

The 7FBR model is being touted as a "totally new concept" in reach trucks and builds on the advances in productivity, stability and comfort established by the introduction of the 7-Series with the System of Active Stability (SAS) in 1999.

Toyota claims the 7FBR is the world’s first electric reach truck to offer this combination of features: adjustable-power traction control, computer-controlled front-assist braking and a swing-lock cylinder for more stable suspension control.

7FBR’s performance is particularly noticeable in tight areas or on wet traveling surfaces, according to Toyota.
