Transportation Technology Survey…

Transportation Technology Survey – last chance to include your input

Canadian Transportation & Logistics Magazine and the Schulich School of Business of York University have almost completed their ground-breaking research project to benchmark the use of transportation technologies among both carriers and shippers.

If you have not already done, please click on the link at the end of this message to be taken to the online survey site. The survey takes just a few minutes to complete and confidentiality is assured. All respondents will receive the full survey results in advance of their printing, free of charge.

Your responses will be combined with those of others involved in the industry to identify and prioritize the technologies in which shippers want their carriers to invest to improve transportation costs, level of service and access to information about activities in the supply chain.

Under a separate survey, carriers will be asked to identify and prioritize the technologies in which they are investing.

Combining and comparing the resulting data will allow us to provide logistics professionals with a detailed understanding of the technologies considered mutually important to shippers and carriers and also identify differences in priorities that need to be addressed.

Thank you in advance for your assistance in this important project. To show our appreciation, all returned questionnaires will also be entered into a draw for TWO free registrations for the upcoming May 12-13th course “Using Transportation Management Technology” being offered in Toronto as part of the Executive Development Program at the Schulich School of Business. The value of a course registration is $1,600.
