Veredex appoints president and COO following deliverEnow acquisition
Veredex Logistics has announced that Drew Kronick and Robert Wyatt have joined the company as President and Chief Operating Officer, respectively.
The appointments were secured through the acquisition of deliverEnow, the creator of a Web-based inventory monitoring and sameday delivery system.
Before founding deliverEnow, both Kronick and Wyatt held senior management positions at Consolidated Delivery & Logistics, the second largest time-critical delivery and logistics company in the US. Their experience in building and operating industry-leading logistics companies is expected to help accelerate Veredex’s rapid growth and penetration in the sameday logistics market.
Plans for the long-term integration of deliverEnow into the Veredex suite of offerings are still being finalized. Veredex offerings include Hotship, a portal for sameday shippers, and The Veredex Logistics Network, the largest network of sameday delivery partners.
Veredex Logistics, which operates head offices in Toronto and Newark, NJ, optimizes supplier selection for sameday shippers by providing real-time access to the Veredex Network of high quality delivery partners. Shippers can compare, ship, track, and generate reports online.
