Wallenius Wilhelmsen becomes ISO 14001 Certified

Global automotive logistics company Wallenius Wilhelmsen has been awarded an ISO 14001 environmental certification from Det Norske Veritas.

The award covers the company’s worldwide shipping services including car and roll on/roll off (Ro/Ro) operations, containers and non-container cargo.

“As a major shipping business we have a clear commitment to keep a high environmental focus on our business. We set environmental goals as part of our normal business operations,” said Ingar Skag, CEO.

Wallenius Wilhelmsen was formed in July 1999 when Wilhelmsen Lines of Norway and Wallenius Lines of Sweden merged operational activities.
