Wilson Logistics Group acquires VIP Airfreight

Wilson Logistics Group has acquired the main part of the Australian company VIP Airfreight Pty Ltd., aiming to leverage that company’s market share in perishables.

Australia and New Zealand are major global exporters of perishables such as meat, fish, shell fish, fruits and vegetables. The majority of the exports goes to Asia.

The perishable sector is dominated by a limited number of operators which understand the extreme demands for care and accuracy in the logistics chain connected to the handling of this kind of merchandise.
