Working meetings between Canadian and Chinese companies offered as trade mission visits Toronto
PBB Global Logistics is arranging for a major multi-sector trade delegation from Hubei Province, China, to visit Toronto for one-on-one meetings with dozens of area businesses. This one-of-a-kind forum will take place at the Regal Constellation Hotel, 900 Dixon Road, Etobicoke on October 18, 2001.
This Chinese trade mission is one of the largest to ever come to Canada. The delegation includes 80 company and government officials, and is being led by. Su Xiaoyun, vice governor of Hubei Provincial People’s Government.
Hubei Province is the economic engine of Central China, with major industries in hydroelectric power generation, metallurgy, machinery, chemicals, automobiles and textiles. Hubei is also known for its strong research sector, particularly in laser, fiber optic communications, bioengineering and new materials.
Canadian companies interested in participating in one-on-one discussions with mission delegates are encouraged to contact PBB Corporate Travel at 1-800-665-2978 or download and complete a registration form at www.pbb.com/china.
PBB has substantial experience in co-ordinating trade missions, having organized two of its own in 2000 and 2001, both to China. The company is currently planning China Trade Mission 2002, a privately-led trade delegation that will visit several Chinese commercial centers in the spring of 2002.
