Queclink launches micro GPS tracker for logistics sector

Queclink Wireless Solutions has introduced its smallest GPS location device to date, unveiling a real-time micro tracker aimed at warehouse and logistics operations.

The GL30 features an ultra-compact, rugged design with multi-network connectivity and enhanced location capabilities, suited for monitoring material handling assets and high-value cargo.

“Supply chain organizations increasingly demand real-time visibility of asset locations across the warehouse and transportation environment to enhance control, productivity and efficiency, so there is growing demand for smaller and more powerful tracking tools,” said Chris Diaz, director of business development at Queclink. “Providing accurate, timely updates, with advanced alerting and location functionality, the GL30 can be used to enhance inventory management, optimize operations and ensure the safety of valuable goods.”

Measuring 60 by 31.7 by 19.66 millimetres and weighing 27.6 grams, the LTE Cat M1/NB2 device is waterproof and designed to withstand harsh environments. It offers features such as Wi-Fi scanning for power saving, BLE 5.2 connectivity, motion detection and geozoning, and can last up to 170 days in standby mode.

“The GL30 extends our product portfolio with a device that is half the size and 60 per cent lighter than our existing compact solution, as well as adding advanced capabilities for indoor-and event-based tracking,” Diaz said. “We are constantly listening to our technology partners to understand the needs of the marketplace and how we can use our proven expertise to help.”
