Four new team members have joined Interroll Atlanta LLC. Dave Schut is subsystems manager. Dave will lead a group of engineers, designers and project managers as they vet new opportunities, develop proposals and develop solutions. Roman Hagan is subsystems engineer for sorters. Roman will produce sorter system layouts, detailed designs and application testing for new opportunities. Scotty Bryant is subsystems engineer for dynamic storage. Scotty will assume responsibility for engineered drawings, engineering R&D, application testing and local IT admin. Cindy Graham joins as inside sales specialist. Cindy will manage sales orders, create quotes, maximize revenue opportunities, close sales leads received for existing accounts and work in close cooperation with engineers and regional sales managers to increase sales.
With effect from February 1, D. Lynn Kelley and Joseph O’Connor have assumed new positions at Union Pacific. Kelley, who was vice-president of continuous improvement, has taken on the added responsibility of the company’s supply organization. As vice-president of supply and continuous improvement, she will be responsible for purchasing, strategic sourcing, and the company’s industrial engineering activities. Kelley joined Union Pacific in 2011 from Textron where she was vice-president of operational excellence. O’Connor, who was vice-president of purchasing, has been named vice-president of labor relations. O’Connor joined Union Pacific in 1987 as a capital planning analyst in the company’s finance organization. He will succeed William (Rick) Turner, vice-president of labor relations, who is retiring in March.
Swissport International has appointed Daniel Setz as senior vice-president cargo operations. Daniel Setz has substantial international experience, with over 20 years working in the transportation and logistics industry. Over the course of the last decade, he held several general management positions, lastly for the Panalpina Group as country managing director and senior vice-president for Brazil. He reports to Nils Pries Knudsen, Head of Global Cargo Services at Swissport.
Dennis Sheehan, vice-president of sales, has decided to leave MOL (America) Inc to pursue other opportunities. Richard Jung, currently assistant vice-president of sales, central region, has been appointed to assume the duties of vice-president of sales. Jung will report to Richard Craig, who has been promoted to executive vice-president, sales and operations, MOL (America) Inc. Jung will be responsible for the strategic and tactical management of all MOL (America) Inc sales activities. Craig has been with MOL (America) Inc for almost 11 years, and has served in several vice-president roles, responsible for yield management, network planning, and area operations. He was named senior vice-president, area operations in 2011 while progressively broadening his responsibilities for management oversight to include Canada, Panama, and Mexico.
Hub Group, Inc has appointed Catherine Kozik chief information officer (CIO). She will report to Hub Group CEO David Yeager and will join the Hub Group Leadership Team. Kozik brings 30 years of leadership and technical expertise to Hub Group, having most recently served ten years at Motorola.
