Transplace acquires Logistics Management Solutions

DALLAS, Tex.–Transplace announced that it has acquired Logistics Management Solutions (LMS), a non-asset-based third party logistics (3PL) provider with particular strength in the chemical and industrial manufacturing sectors, that enables its customers to gain competitive advantages through optimal transportation management. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Established in 1996, LMS offers advanced technology and results-oriented services that help shippers improve their safety, service levels and financial performance.
