Friedrich (“Fritz”) Neumeyer will join Syncron as CEO, effective August 1, 2020. He will succeed Anders Grudén, who is stepping down as CEO but will continue to serve in an advisory role. Most recently, Neumeyer served as CEO of German ERP vendor proALPHA for six years. Previously he served in leadership roles at Software AG and SAP, after beginning his career at McKinsey. Neumeyer has lived and worked in Italy, Germany, Belgium and the U.S. He will relocate to Sweden and will be based out of the company’s Stockholm headquarters. He studied nuclear physics and has a Ph.D. from the Technical University of Darmstadt.
Matt Mantione has been appointed executive director of the Customized Logistics & Delivery Association (CLDA). He brings almost two decades of association management experience to the position. In his previous role Mantione was vice-president of membership engagement at the Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA). He was honoured by the Association Forum & USAE with their Forty Under 40 award. He is an active member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and has spoken and written several articles on association management. Mantione earned his BA in Corporate Communications at Radford University.
With more than 20 years of experience in the oil and gas and petrochemical industries, Chuck Wells will lead commercial growth for A&R Logistics‘s In-Plant Services as the new director of sales. Wells most recently directed the startup and management team of Duron Group in Houston. Dale Carpenter joined A&R as VP global logistics. Carpenter has deep experience in the transportation and logistics space where he has led operations in distribution, inventory, solutions, transportation and warehousing, most recently with Direct Connect Logistix in Indianapolis. A&R also tapped former general manager for James Hardie, Brandon Boyd, to lead operations for its new East Coast Export Services in Savannah and Charleston as VP East Coast Export Packaging Operations. Boyd comes to A&R with more than 12 years of operations leadership experience split between the pulp and paper and building products industries.
