The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in North America (CILTNA) accredited George Brown College’s Supply Chain Certificate Program and certifies that the program meets standards established by international parent organization, CILT International. This new accreditation brings global recognition to the GBC Certificate Program. Graduates of the program will be eligible for CILTNA membership, as well as for obtaining a globally-recognized CILT Diploma.
Air France-KLM and the CMA CGM Group have launched their long-term strategic air cargo partnership. The deal was originally announced in May 2022, and will have an initial duration of 10 years. Air France KLM Martinair Cargo, part of Air France-KLM Group, and CMA CGM Air Cargo, part of the CMA CGM Group, are combining their complementary cargo networks, full freighter capacity and dedicated services. The current scope of the cooperation excludes North America, Russia, Turkey, and Mauritius. The combined capacity includes up to 12 full-freighter aircraft and Air France-KLM’s belly aircraft capacity, including 160-plus long-haul aircraft.
Dr. Squatch, a men’s personal care brand, has engaged SCI to help them expand into the Canadian market. SCI is providing localized warehousing, fulfillment, and transportation operations. The partnership has resulted in reduced delivery times and improved shipping costs to Canadian consumers. SCI is now working with Dr. Squatch to expand their multi-channel fulfillment strategy to include Amazon and Walmart.
Nulogy’s cloud-based software was chosen as the new platform for the co-packing of automotive spare parts at CEVA Logistics’s Melbourne, Australia, facility. By digitizing operations at the site, Nulogy will provide visibility and real-time production monitoring, as well as improving materials and inventory management. The software provider has supported the implementation of its solution at several CEVA co-pack sites around the globe, including in the Netherlands, Poland, France, Turkey, and the United Kingdom. This new implementation expands the use of Nulogy from FMCG sector clients to the automotive sector.
