CALGARY, Alberta—For people who want the one-stop shopping experience of a traditional department store, Sears Canada is still a place to buy appliances, furniture, tools, toys and clothes all in one spot.

The task of supplying the retail stores with such a wide inventory falls on the shoulders of people like David Cooper and David Rich at Sears Canada’s Calgary National Logistic Centre (NLC). The NLC’s general manager and logistics support manager offered a tour of the company’s main western facility and spoke about how the NLC will evolve in the future.
