CIFFA president dies [Updated]

Donna Letterio died on August 28.

A well known member of the supply chain industry, Letterio was CEO Canada of DHL Global Forwarding (Canada) Inc, and since May 2012 she served as president of the board of directors of CIFFA.

In letter to members announcing Letterio’s death, CIFFA executive director Ruth Snowden described her in the following manner:

“As an industry veteran Donna brought a wealth of knowledge and experience to the presidency. She had a quick wit and generous sense of humor, was a consummate professional and a fine representative of our industry.”

She added that Letterio was “a longtime friend and colleague to many of us. She will be sorely missed.”

The staff at MM&D echoes those sentiments and expresses its condolences to Letterio’s family, friends and colleagues.
