PORTSMOUTH, New Hampshire—Toronto, Ontario-based Vitran Corporation Inc has divested itself of its supply chain division.
The company, which offers LTL freight surface transportation and logistics services, sold its supply chain operation, Vitran SCO to Portsmouth, New Hampshire-based Legacy Supply Chain Services for $97 million. The deal is expected to close by March 1.
With the purchase, 3PL Legacy now has 35 facilities, 557,420sqm (six million square feet) of warehouse space, and four transportation offices.
