Cushman & Wakefield

Paul Fredette, Alexandre Fredette and Silvana Sanchez have joined Cushman & Wakefield. Paul Fredette joins as senior vice-president, while Alexandre Fredette and Sanchez join as senior associates. Paul Fredette brings more than two decades of experience in Quebec industrial real estate to his new role. Over the course of his career, he’s closed transactions from leasing industrial buildings, build to suit projects, sale lease back deals, land sales and industrial building sales. Rising stars in the industry, Alexandre Fredette began his commercial real estate career in 2017, while Sanchez began her commercial real estate career in 2018 and has more than 15 years of experience in business development.

Daseke

Daseke, Inc. has appointed Bruce Blaise to its board of directors. Blaise will serve on the board’s compensation, corporate governance and nominating committees. Blaise has 38 years of experience in the trucking and transportation industry. He was president of Kenan Advantage Group (KAG) from 2011 to 2021 and held both CEO and president roles from 2018 to 2021. Previously, Blaise served in various management roles with Miller Transporters from 1983 to 2001. He served on the board of directors of the National Freight Transportation Association (NFTA) through March 2022.

TT Club

EeLain Ong has taken over as chief financial officer (CFO) of TT Club. Appointed in April 2022, Ong shadowed outgoing CFO Julian Chowdhury until August 1, when she took over. Over her 27 year career Ong has held leadership positions within finance, treasury and tax at re/insurance companies, captives, mutuals, start-ups and Lloyd’s syndicates, and across multiple jurisdictions globally. Ong is a graduate of Hull University and a Chartered Accountant (FCA). In addition to roles at re/insurance providers, she also had experiences as a regulator,  an auditor, and an M&A corporate financier.
