Port of Montreal

Martin Imbleau is leaving the Port of Montreal in September to take over as CEO of the new Via high frequency rail program. Imbleau started at the port on January 1, 2021. He is a lawyer by training, with a Master’s in International Law, and has written works on human rights. He held management and vice-presidential positions for close to twenty years at Energir, and immediately prior to taking on the top job a the port, Imbleau was vice-president, corporate strategies and business development at Hydro-Québec.

ADM Aéroports de Montréal

Yves Beauchamp (CNW Group/Aéroports de Montréal)

ADM Aéroports de Montréal has appointed Yves Beauchamp president and CEO, effective September 5, 2023. Beauchamp will succeed Philippe Rainville, who is retiring after a 15-year career with the corporation, the last six of which have been at its helm. Rainville will remain in his role until September 5th and will leave ADM at the end of the year. Until recently, Beauchamp was vice-principal, administration and finance, at McGill University. He also served as director general of the École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) and as vice-rector responsible for the development of the Université de Montréal’s new Outremont campus. He holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering and a master’s degree in industrial safety and hygiene from the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières, and a doctorate in industrial engineering from West Virginia University. Over the course of his career, he has received numerous awards and acknowledgements, including the member of the Order of Canada, the Knight of the National Order of Québec, the Médaille de l’Assemblée Nationale of the Government of Québec, and a recognition from the Order of Engineers of Québec for outstanding achievement in research and teaching. He was named a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering, of which he was President, and was awarded both Queen Elizabeth II Golden and Diamond Jubilee Medals.

Kinaxis

Kinaxis has promoted three executives. New chief product officer Andrew Bell will report to president and CEO John Sicard. Bell has been with Kinaxis for more than a decade, most recently leading product management. He previously held roles at Nokia Group (then Alcatel-Lucent). Megan Paterson, the company’s former chief human resources officer, takes on the role of chief operating officer. Amber Pate, former vice-president of human resources, moves to chief human resources officer (CHRO).
