TransPro Freight Systems

Peter Jenkins

Peter Jenkins has taken on the role of general manager at TransPro Freight Systems in addition to his role as general manager at Champion Express Ltd. He will manage both companies, operating from their shared Milton-based terminal. Jenkins brings over a decade of experience managing Champion’s key accounts and developing its LTL logistics software. He is a Certified Logistics Professional (CCLP) and Professional Logistician (PLog). As GM of Champion Express, he has overseen the company relocating to the TransPro terminal and integrating with the warehouse and cross-dock operations.

Groupe Morneau

Marc-Aurèle Malaison

Groupe Morneau has appointed Marc-Aurèle Malaison to vice-president, operations – general transport. Malaison has more than 30 years’ experience. From 1996 to 2000 he was general manager with AssociĂ©s Transports du QuĂ©bec. After that he was vice-president of business development at Transport Morneau until 2004. He then spent 12 years at Canada Cartage as general manager and vice-president of the Quebec and maritime regions. He returned to Groupe Morneau in 2017 as vice-president of sales and marketing.

Air Canada Cargo

Air Canada Cargo has made several senior appointments. Peter Laub has been appointed senior director, cargo – USA & Latin America, while three long-standing members of the Air Canada Cargo team have been promoted: Janet Wallace is now senior director, cargo transformation; Milt Fenske becomes director, cargo sales – USA; and Barb Johnston has been named director, cargo operations Canada. Laub brings with him more than 30 years of cargo sales and operations experience from the passenger and freighter markets. In a previous role as vice-president of business development at Aloha Air, he oversaw the introduction of Aloha Air Cargo’s Boeing 767-300 freighters. Wallace has 28 years of experience with Air Canada. She is skilled in operations management with diverse experience in call centres, airports, inflight and cargo. Fenske has been at Air Canada Cargo for almost 20 years and has more than 30 years of experience in cargo. Based in Chicago, Milt has been responsible for USA cargo sales, operations and global accounts. Barbara Johnston also has more than 30 years of experience in cargo and has held key positions in a wide variety of roles, including process and procedures, regulatory affairs, cargo technology, e-commerce, safety and cargo sales.
