Carton Cloud

Mitch Whitnack and Robb Sollows have joined Carton Cloud as implementation specialists. Ottawa’s Robb Sollows is  an industry veteran of more than 40 years. His previous experience includes positions at Trimble Transportation, Trans Plus and TMW Systems. Vancouver-based Whitnack has five years of experience in the logistics industry and has been responsible for major warehouse management software implementation projects across a number of B.C businesses.

Bolloré Logistics

Francois-Xavier Colin

Bolloré Logistics has appointed Francois-Xavier Colin general manager – supply chain for the Americas. Based in the New York regional headquarters, Colin will report to Yves Laforgue, CEO of Bolloré Logistics Americas. He will replace Nathalie Leger who has been recently appointed as global VP of the luxury, perfumes and cosmetics vertical, based in the Puteaux global headquarters. Colin earned a Master of Science, Supply Chain from KEDGE Business School. his recent experience includes positions at Saint Gobain and Kering group.

Airforwarders Association

Jacob (Jake) Fisher, vice-president and general counsel to Airforwarders Association (AfA) member Rock-It Global, has joined the AfA Board. Fisher was elected to fill an interim slot created by the departure of Brendan Akamu, who recently accepted a position with Hawaiian Airlines. Airline members are not eligible to hold a seat on AfA’s board. Akamu’s term expires this Fall, at which time Fisher will be required to run for re-election for a four-year term.

Transflo

Mario Duckett

Transflo has added Mario Duckett as senior vice-president of growth, and Scott Gray as vice-president of IT and infrastructure. Duckett comes to Transflo after 23 years with MetaSource where he was VP of business development. Gray joins Transflo after a 13-year career at Nielson where he directed global operations, architecture, and contracts across database technologies, data warehouse services, cloud management, and core infrastructure technologies.
