Logistec Corporation has appointed Dany Trudel as vice-president and corporate controller. He succeeds Carl Delisle, who is now the chief financial officer. Trudel has experience in corporate finance and knowledge in international business. Fluent in English, French and Spanish, Trudel has over 20 years of experience in the financial field and has led accounting teams at prominent world-class companies.


Pegasus Airlines vice-chairperson of the board (managing director) Mehmet Tevfik Nane will be chairman of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) board of governors (BoG) for a one-year term, effective June 21. Nane is the 80th chairman of the IATA BoG, and has served on the BoG since 2019. He succeeds JetBlue Airways CEO Robin Hayes, who will continue to serve on the BoG. Nane was appointed CEO of Pegasus Airlines in 2016, a position he held until earlier this year, when he assumed his current position with the airline. Before joining Pegasus, he served as CEO of CarrefourSA, as CEO of Teknosa, and as vice-chairman of the board of Teknosa.

Etihad Cargo has appointed Caroline Pappas as general manager – Americas. Based in Chicago, Pappas will report directly to Etihad Cargo’s director – cargo commercial west, Mark Faulkner. She will be responsible for establishing new and further developing existing relationships with Etihad Cargo’s customers based in North and South America. Pappas joins Etihad Cargo with over 30 years’ sales and commercial experience within the air cargo sector.
