CSCMP

The Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) board of directors and its officers unanimously voted Mark Baxa as the full-time president and CEO at its June 2022 meeting. Baxa brings many years of service in supply chain leadership roles and with the CSCMP, including serving at the roundtable, board of directors, and in all elected board officer roles, including chairman in 2019. He has filled the role during the past 16 months in an interim capacity.

Bolloré Logistics

Jean-Baptiste Buée

Bolloré Logistics has appointed Jean-Baptiste Buée to the position of head of luxury for the Americas. Based in New Jersey, Buée will report to Marc Sawaya, VP sales for North America. He comes from Bolloré Logistics France where he most recently held the role of global key account manager for leading luxury groups. Before joining Bolloré Logistics, Jean-Baptiste was trade lane manager North America with DHL Global Forwarding, and held sales development positions with Kuehne & Nagle and UPS SCS as well as Air France/KLM Cargo.

TGW

Alexander Leitner

Alexander Leitner has taken on the newly created position of senior vice-president for innovation and technology at TGW Logistics Group. He will be responsible for the warehouse automation specialist’s innovation strategy, reporting to CEO Harald Schröpf. Leitner was last employed at Kion Group, where he was responsible for global product requirement management. His areas of expertise included mechanical and system engineering, the automotive industry, and intralogistics.

MIR

Mobile Industrial Robots (MiR) has hired Mark Joppru as vice-president of sales for the Americas. He replaces Ed Mullen, who after nearly six years with MiR left to seek new challenges. Joppru was previously VP of ABB USA’s consumer segments and service robotics division. Before ABB, Joppru for 25 years held multiple sales leadership roles at Rockwell Automation, including industry sales director for China and Latin America, and global director of automotive sales. Joppru holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering and a master’s degree in industrial distribution from Texas A&M University.
