Blue Giant

Ron Mack has been appointed sales manager for lift tables at Blue Giant Equipment Corporation. Mack has been in the lift table business in the United States and Canada for 23 years and has been in the material industry for 25. Most recently, Ron managed all aspects of sales, customer service and dealer relations for a leading manufacturer of ergonomic work positioning equipment.

Gorbel

Gorbel CEO Brian Reh has recently been elected to serve as vice-president of MHI. Reh has been involved at MHI in various capacities for more than 15 years and has been a key participant in recent initiatives to set direction for the organization. Reh and Gorbel are members of MHI industry groups that focus on overhead lifting and ergonomics. MHI members produce products and solutions ranging from mobile automation to storage equipment.

Wayfair

Sean Halligan

Sean Halligan has joined Wayfair as chief global supply chain officer. Halligan manage supply chain initiatives from product discovery to final delivery including the ongoing expansion of Wayfair’s fulfillment centre and delivery network and the development of the company’s global freight network. Halligan joins Wayfair with more than two decades of experience leading supply chains for large, complex, customer-facing organizations including Cardinal Health, Nike and Target. In addition to his operational and technical strengths, Halligan is a seasoned people leader with strong talent management experience and a passion for team-building and culture development.

Six new members have been to The International Air Cargo Association‘s board of directors. They are Kai Domscheit, CEO of CHI Deutschland Cargo Handling; Dan Sheehan, director of industry of UPS; Tushar Jani, chairman of Cargo Service Center India; Kamesh Peri, chief executive officer, Delhi Airport – Celebi Ground Handling; Roos Bakker, director of business development for airline route and network development at Schiphol Airport; and Massimo Roccasecca, group cargo director for the SAVE Group. The SAVE Group is the managing company for Venice, Verona, Brescia and Treviso Airports in Italy.
