Logistec has appointed Carl Delisle as chief financial officer. He will succeed Jean-Claude Dugas. Delisle joined the company in 2018 as corporate controller and was appointed vice-president and corporate controller in 2020. Dugas joined Logistec in 2001 and will take on the role of special advisor until his retirement at the end of 2022.
Scott Calver, who most recently served as the chief financial officer at Trimac Transportation is joining Cargojet as its new CFO. Before moving to Trimac, Calver was vice-president, finance for ICS Courier from 2004 to 2008. Calver is a chartered professional accountant. He has BCom and MBA degrees and serves on the board of Meals on Wheels, Calgary.
Walmart Canada has made changes in its executive team. John Bayliss has moved from his position as senior vice-president of logistics and supply chain to executive vice-president, transformation officer. In this newly created role, Bayliss is responsible for strategy, innovation, corporate development, new store format, real estate and transformation. Sam Wankowski becomes chief merchandising officer, moving from his position of chief operations officer. Nabeela Ixtabalan is taking on the COO role. She joined Walmart in 2020 as executive vice-president, people and corporate affairs. She is Walmart International’s first-ever female COO. Laurent Duray is now chief e-commerce officer. Previously he was vice-president of strategy and senior vice-president of fresh, grocery and consumables.
Jack Bradley has accepted a new position as associate vice-president, distribution and logistics at telematics provider Geotab. Previously, Bradley was vice-president, logistics at pharmaceutical distributor Kohl & Frisch. Before that he was vice-president supply chain, inventory control and logistics at Strongco. Bradley earned a BA from the University of Toronto, and holds a CCLP designation from CITT.
