Lucie Guillemette, previously senior VP, revenue optimization, at Air Canada has been promoted to executive VP and chief commercial officer. Guillemette will be responsible for Air Canada’s commercial strategy and revenue generation, including marketing, sales, network planning and revenue management. Guillemette joined Air Canada in 1987 as a customer service and sales agent, subsequently holding various positions in pricing, inventory control, product management and a number of senior marketing and commercial positions as well as senior director, human resources.
Wajax Corporation has appointed Darren Yaworsky as senior vice president, finance and CFO effective March 8, 2017. Yaworsky succeeds John Hamilton, who joined Wajax as senior VP, finance and CFO in 1999. Hamilton’s planned retirement from Wajax was announced in August 2016. Most recently, Yaworsky served as vice president, finance and treasurer at Canadian Pacific Railway and, prior to that, held several senior financial executive roles within the Enbridge Group of Companies. Yaworsky holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from Lakehead University and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Manitoba.
Kit Boyd will join Neovia Logistics, a global supplier of logistics services, as chief operations officer on January 16, 2017, reporting to CEO Pat Olney. Boyd recently served as senior vice president of Global Logistics with Ingram Micro, where he led a team of more than 7,000 associates and optimized an $800 million warehousing and transportation network. Before joining Ingram, Boyd was responsible for warehousing and transportation at Ecolab, a chemical manufacturing company. He has been active in various professional groups including the Warehouse Education and Research Council (WERC) and the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals. Boyd holds a bachelor’s degree from the United States Air Force Academy and an MBA from Chapman in Orange California.
