Andrew Snelgrove has resigned as CFO of Clarke Inc, effective March 11, 2016, in order to pursue the same position at another company. Kim Langille, Clarke’s vice-president of taxation, has been appointed interim CFO. Langille has been in her current role since 2012 and previously was senior manager of Taxation at Deloitte LLP. Clarke will seek to identify a permanent Chief Financial Officer in the coming months.
Kristine Freudenthaler of Toronto, a logistics and supply chain expert and formerly senior vice-president of technology at Canadian Tire joined the Beer Store board of directors, along with six others.
Inmar has named Roy Simrell president and Chief Client Officer. In this role, he will lead sales and marketing across all Inmar businesses. Simrell brings extensive experience in retail technology, software development and IT services from roles with Symphony EYC, Retalix and Catalina Marketing. During his time with Catalina, he held various senior level executive positions in the US and Europe, where he worked with retailers and brands to drive sales and increase customer loyalty.
FORTE added three new members to its team. Mark Owen and Andrew Castelli join as director of systems engineering and electrical controls engineer, respectively, and Brooke Lanning joins the company as the new business development manager. Owen brings more than 25 years of supply chain management design experience to his role at FORTE, having served clients such as Amazon, Target, Walmart, Staples and more at Intelligrated. Owen’s wide-ranging experience and technical knowledge of automation solutions include infrastructure design, application engineering consulting, system management and application support, and software development. Castelli leverages almost a decade of industry experience in his role at FORTE. Lanning brings 10 years of outstanding customer relations and business development experience to her new position. Before joining FORTE, Lanning held business development positions with Peach State Integrated Technologies, Atlanta, and Concept Services.
