Stärke Material Handling Group is expanding. With the recent hire of Michael Poeltl, Stärke’s new marketing and dealer development specialist, late in the fourth quarter of 2014, the company is expanding its marketing efforts throughout North America.
Gregory Orr is the new president at Con-way Multimodal, the freight brokerage division of San Francisco-based Menlo Logistics. Orr previously was vice-president of operations for Con-way Multimodal. Orr joined Con-way Multimodal in 2008 as vice-president and general manager at the company’s Portland, Oregon operation. He was promoted to vice president of operations in 2010. Previously, Orr worked with Greatwide Dedicated Transport in Dallas, where he was vice president of operations, overseeing 16 locations across the United States. Prior to that, he was vice president/account general manager at Schneider Logistics.
Kevin Stout has been named vice-president and CFO of Landstar System, Inc. Stout, who joined Landstar in 1997 as director of financial reporting, is responsible for safeguarding the company’s assets, and managing the entire financial and administrative operation for the nearly $3 billion transportation services provider. Stout was promoted to director of budget and planning in 2003 and promoted again in 2004 to vice-president of finance for the Landstar Carrier Group. In 2007, he was named Landstar vice-president and corporate controller, and, in 2014, vice-president of finance and corporate controller.
TJ McGeean has been appointed CFO for CR England. Josh England has served in the dual roles of president and CFO for the company since 2013. McGeean joined CR England in December 2008 as a controller in the company’s Dedicated Division. In March 2010, he was named director, operations finance and in February 2013 he was promoted to vice-president, finance. Before joining England, McGeean worked in various finance positions for DHL Express USA, and Menlo Worldwide Forwarding. He is a graduate of Wright State University.
