David Morneau is now vice-president, operations, and Catherine Morneau is executive vice-president and general manager of trucking company Groupe Morneau. David and Catherine Morneau, both from the fourth generation, have worked within the company for over 15 years.
Over the past few years, David led the acquisitions of Beacon Transit Line (2019) and General Cartage (2021). He is recognized for his involvement in the community, notably as director of the Board of the Association du camionnage du Québec (ACQ) and president of the Foundation for ACQ road transport training since 2015.
Catherine will be responsible for carrying out large-scale projects. She will also be in charge of governance, corporate affairs as well as the shared services team (IT, human resources, project office, legal affairs, compliance, buildings and finance).
Christian Baur, formerly CEO of Swisslog, has joined Caja Robotics as senior advisor. Baur will support building a base of clients and partners to fortify the company’s presence in Europe. Coming from KUKA and Swisslog, he brings deep expertise in project-based global businesses, operational excellence, M&A and leadership experience. Baur holds a degree in mechanical engineering from the Technical University of Munich and received a doctoral degree from the Technical University of Karlsruhe.
Bolloré Logistics has appointed Anne-Laure Marchalas as head of cosmetics for the Americas. Based in New York, USA, reporting to Bolloré Logistics Americas’ VP of sales, Marc Sawaya, Marchalas will be responsible for growth in this vertical. She will work with the local sales team in the USA, Canada and Latin America, as well as with the Bolloré Logistics vertical team. Marchalas was previously posted at Flexport as global key account manager. She has previously been head of business development and business operations at ARTA Shipping, head of operations USA at Air Sea Packing, as well as positions such as sales and marketing director and brand manager North America within the Ales Group. Marchalas earned a Master’s degree in Business Law from Paul Cezanne University in Aix-en-Provence, France. She is currently completing her Executive MBA with ESCP Business School.
