Appointments, promotions, moves and changes in the supply chain sector this week

Delmar International Inc. has named Laura Corrales as its first sustainability officer. The new role’s mandate is to develop, implement and promote sustainability programs for operations in North America. Corrales was most recently an account executive and sustainability consultant with UPS. She earned a Masters in Sustainability from Harvard University and a degree in Industrial Engineering from Javeriana University in Bogota, Colombia. Based in the Montreal head office, she will report directly to the CEO.

Jack Roberts is the new vice-president of operations at Hytrol Conveyor. Roberts will lead the manufacturing operations at Hytrol, including manufacturing engineers, maintenance, procurement and special projects. He brings with him 15 years of working as an operational partner in private equity. Early in his career, he worked as an industrial engineer in manufacturing.

Larry Chin has joined RightHand Robotics as head of sales. Chin joins RightHand with over 20 years of sales, business development, and marketing experience in the industrial automation, machinery, and life science markets. Having previously worked in the robotics tooling industry, and as a patent holder of various robotic grippers and devices, Chin also brings a strong background in robotic solutions. In his most recent role, he served as global sales manager and head of commercial operations for the Independent Cart Technology (ICT) business unit at Rockwell Automation, which he joined via their acquisition of MagneMotion in 2016.

Sarah Mastrorocco

Instacart has promoted Sarah Mastrorocco to the newly created role of general manager, Instacart Pickup. Mastrorocco joined Instacart nearly six years ago as the first member of the company’s business development team and since then has played an integral role in various leadership positions across catalog, account management and, most recently, as VP of business development. Before Instacart, Mastrorocco was a member of PepsiCo’s Global Operations Group, working on direct store delivery operations across North and South America. Before that, she was on Frito-Lay North America’s Strategy and M&A team.
