Ajay Barolia has been named executive vice-president of cargo for North America at Swissport, taking the helm of the company’s regional air cargo business and reporting directly to CEO Nelson Camacho. Since joining Swissport in June 2024 as senior vice-president North America, Barolia has contributed significantly to the organization. His new appointment underscores Swissport’s strategic focus on building a strong, resilient leadership team to drive operational efficiency and customer satisfaction across North America.

With more than three decades of industry expertise, Barolia is recognized for his knowledge of global cargo standards, hands-on operational management and commitment to innovation. He brings extensive experience in optimizing logistics, championing digital transformation and elevating quality, health, safety and environmental standards.

Seegrid

Seegrid Corp., an autonomous vehicle solutions company for modern industrial facilities, announced the appointment of Chris Baker as chief executive officer. Baker brings nearly 25 years of leadership experience in engineering software and industrial markets, positioning Seegrid for its next phase of accelerated innovation and growth.

Baker has held executive, business development, product management and engineering roles at companies including New Eagle, Hexagon AB, MSC Software and Ford Motor Company. Most recently, he served as CEO of New Eagle, a private-equity-backed embedded systems leader specializing in software solutions for electrification and autonomy.
