“We are honoured that the National Association of Manufacturers recognized our commitment to operational excellence.”
The National Association of Manufacturers’ Manufacturing Leadership Awards honour companies and individual leaders that are shaping the future of global manufacturing. Winning projects and individual manufacturing leaders are chosen by a panel of expert judges for results that have delivered clear and compelling value, return on investment and other tangible outcomes.
Entries were submitted in 12 categories that recognize outstanding achievements by individuals and organizations that are shaping the future of global manufacturing. The nine project categories for 2020 include Artificial Intelligence and Analytics Leadership, Industrial Internet of Things Leadership, Sustainability Leadership and Talent Management Leadership. Individual categories this year were Community Service, Digital Transformation Leadership and Next-Generation Leadership.
Raymond’s commitment to lean management principles, including Toyota Production Systems’ innovative training efforts and standardized work documents, was a key factor in its Muscatine plant achieving this honour.
“At a time when the industry is more innovative and competitive than it ever has been, these award winners truly stand out as leaders of manufacturing’s digital transformation,” said Manufacturing Leadership Council co-founder, executive director and vice-president David Brousell. “We congratulate them for their outstanding achievements.”
