Qatar Airways Cargo, IAG Cargo and MASkargo have announced plans to launch a Global Cargo Joint Business aimed at enhancing service levels and connectivity across the global air freight market.
The trilateral agreement, which remains subject to regulatory approval, will combine the infrastructure and expertise of the three carriers to offer customers streamlined services, improved transit times and broader routing options.
“Today marks a significant milestone in our ongoing efforts to redefine the global air cargo landscape,” said Mark Drusch, chief officer cargo at Qatar Airways Cargo. “This agreement will bring together three strong players to offer unparalleled service and global connectivity, reinforcing our commitment to customer satisfaction and operational excellence.”
The companies say the collaboration will also support the development of harmonized safety and security standards and deliver greater operational agility.
“This joint business not only unlocks choice and opportunities for our customers but also enhances connectivity for the businesses and industries they serve,” said David Shepherd, chief executive officer at IAG Cargo.
MASkargo CEO Mark Jason Thomas said the partnership signals “a new era of value and innovation” for the company and the broader air cargo industry. The carriers said implementation of the joint business will proceed once all necessary regulatory approvals are secured.
