Hangcha Forklift Canada celebrates five-year anniversary

Hangcha Forklift Canada, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hangcha Group, recently marked its fifth anniversary since its establishment on Oct. 18, 2019.

Founded with an initial investment of US$3 million, Hangcha Canada was created to offer a direct distribution model, eliminating the need for importers and providing Canadian businesses with streamlined access to its products. Today, the company’s dealer network spans all Canadian provinces, with 17 partners offering sales, service and support nationwide.

Beginning with just five employees in 2019, Hangcha Canada has grown to a team of 35 across the country. This expansion was highlighted in 2023 by the opening of new facilities in Mississauga, Ont., and Vancouver, B.C. Alongside its headquarters in Vaudreuil-Dorion, Que., these locations strengthen the company’s ability to support its dealers and enhance service capabilities from coast to coast. In 2023, Hangcha Canada reached sales of 2,463 forklift units, covering the full spectrum of Class 1 to Class 7 models.

With the theme “Engage, Empower, and Elevate,” Hangcha Canada’s fourth annual Canadian Dealers’ Conference, held Sept. 24-25, brought together 45 attendees from all 17 dealerships. The conference highlighted key strategies for building rental fleets, expanding service capabilities and preparing for increased market demand. Educational sessions on financing, fleet management, new product launches and marketing provided dealers with valuable insights to support their success.
