YDelay has launched its Trade Fraud Risk Intelligence Framework, designed to help organizations detect fraud and shipment risk by connecting physical documents, historical data and multiple risk signals. The announcement was made at the Billington CyberSecurity Summit in Washington, D.C.
The framework examines commercial invoices, packing lists, waybills, shipping labels and barcodes together rather than independently. According to YDelay, inconsistencies often appear only when information is compared across the full shipment.
“Trade fraud rarely announces itself in a single document,” said Abhi Arora, founder and managing director of YDelay. “The signal often appears in the relationship between documents, the shipment history and what is happening physically. Our framework brings those signals together so organizations can move from simply reviewing information to understanding whether an entire shipment tells a consistent story.”
There is a five‑stage process to capture, extract, correlate and detect anomalies before producing an explainable risk score. It can identify indicators such as quantity mismatches, weight inconsistencies, duplicate tracking numbers, unusual routing, value anomalies and HS‑code issues.
YDelay says the system is designed to work with existing risk technology and can connect information from customs systems, ERP and CRM platforms, warehouse systems, logistics systems, historical transactions and documents.
The framework is being introduced as cross‑border organizations face rising complexity from changing tariffs, geopolitical pressures and evolving regulatory requirements.
