Kardex is expanding its AutoStore operations into Canada, adding local support, partner resources and French‑speaking expertise to help companies adopt automated storage and fulfillment systems. The company’s Americas AutoStore business has completed more than 150 deployments over five years, involving thousands of robots and millions of bins.
Kardex has been active in Canada through its intralogistics and automation portfolio and now plans to grow its AutoStore presence. Recent North American customers include Ford, Sonepar, Cutter & Buck and WEG.

Fred Fox, President, Americas at Kardex Solutions said the goal is to serve Canadian companies with the resources and partner network needed to support them through every stage of their solution, and to build relationships that earn trust over the long term.
“We are honored to bring AutoStore into the Canadian market,” he said. “It is a privilege we do not take lightly, and one that reflects the work of a team that has helped build successful AutoStore projects across the Americas and globally.”
Kardex AS Solutions works with customers from initial inquiry through deployment and system lifecycle support. Its French AutoStore integration teams will assist Canadian customers requiring French‑language design and commissioning support.

Kardex also develops proprietary technology for AutoStore systems, including its FulfillX warehouse execution system, SnapVac grid cleaning tool, BinInductAI bin induction and the Intuitive Picking Assistant, which projects picking information onto the AutoStore port.
Daniel Hauser, Head of Kardex AS Solutions said the combination of global capabilities with local market knowledge and support gives the company an opportunity to build a meaningful, long‑term AutoStore business in Canada.

“Canada represents an important growth opportunity for Kardex AS Solutions as we continue to expand our AutoStore business globally. We have built significant AutoStore experience across markets and industries, and our focus is on bringing that expertise closer to Canadian customers,” he said.
Founded in Switzerland, Kardex operates in more than 30 countries and employs almost 3,000 people. According to the company, customer deployments of AutoStore systems have increased picking throughput by as much as 300 per cent, reduced floor space requirements by up to 80 per cent, shortened project timelines to six months, and improved picking accuracy to 99.9 per cent.
