FORT WORTH, Texas — American Airlines Cargo has expanded the weight limit for its international Priority Parcel Service (PPS) to provide customers with additional flexibility in shipping heavier, time-sensitive packages. PPS Heavyweight provides a per piece weight limit increase to 100 lbs (46 kilograms) for shipments originating in the US to all countries worldwide, with the exception of Japan.
“AA Cargo continues to explore new ways to expand shipping options for our customers,” said Dave Brooks, president of AA Cargo. “The expansion of our PPS product provides customers with heavy piece shipments with greater access to our global network.”
The same-day, counter-to-counter service offers flight-specific shipping and highest-priority boarding, with no advanced booking required.
