Air Canada to Resume Limited Schedule, Start-up to be Phased in Over Next Days

Air Canada is preparing to resume a limited schedule beginning Thursday September 13, 2001. The airline will begin phasing in approximately 20 per cent of its normal daily operations to serve domestic destinations from its hubs across Canada. Subject to obtaining the required approvals, Air Canada may operate a limited schedule of
international services later today.

Air Canada will also start up selected transcontinental services as
well as limited Rapidair service in the Toronto-Montreal-Ottawa and Vancouver- Calgary-Edmonton triangles.
