CON-WAY Canada Express opening two new service centers

Con-Way Canada Express will open two new service centers during February and March, in Montreal, Quebec and Windsor, Ontario.
“Windsor is the busiest international gateway between the United States and Canada and our new facility there will be instrumental in improving international and local service. The St. Luc facility will increase service to the South Shore area and the metro Montreal market,” said Rick Smith, general manager of Con-Way Canada Express. The St. Luc, Quebec facility will serve the metro Montreal market and expand service capabilities to customers located in the South Shore area.
The 17-door, 8,700 square foot service center, which opened February 4. will permit for earlier deliveries and later pickups in South Shore.
The 24-door, 10,200 square foot Windsor facility will have an increased freight handling capacity, 14 additional dock doors and over 5,700 more square feet of dock space to permit for improved pickup and delivery times.
The new facility is located on 3.1 acres at 698 Sprucewood Ave. in Windsor and is scheduled to open March 4.
