Delfour gives third-party clients 24-hour access to inventory

Markham, Ont.’s Delfour Corporation has announced the latest release of its e-Vista solution.

e-Vista, Release 1.2, is a web-enabled software technology that enables third-party customers 24-hour, controlled access to their inventory in the warehouse distribution centers. In addition to tracking inventory, the newest features and functions include "inbound receipt notice" and "outbound order request".

Inbound receipt notice enables the third-party client to create documents on the Delfour Warehouse Management System to inform the warehouse of inventory to be received. Meanwhile, the outbound order request allows the end-user to place an order on the system of what inventory is to be shipped. These transactions can be completed at the convenience of the end-user and without contacting the customer service representatives of the warehouse, thereby increasing efficiency and productivity.
