Famous Pacific Shipping expands into North American presence

Famous Pacific Shipping, an Asian-based NVOCC and freight services provider, has expanded its presence in the northeastern market with the the opening of a new office in New York.

The office is managed by Steve Chang, Vice President of FPS Logistic (USA) Inc., who moved to the company’s Los Angeles office in February last year as part of the group’s core strategic objective of growing its business and participation in North America.

The opening of a New York office is the second stage towards fulfilling that objective.

FPS Logistic (USA) Inc currently offers import and export seafreight consolidation services, customs clearance and door-to-door deliveries.

Major plans for the future include the development of airfreight services, and the implementation of EDI and cargo track and trace.
