CALGARY, Alberta—The New Year should begin without a labour disruption at CP.
According to a statement issued by the railway, CP reached a deal with one of its unions. The United Steelworkers (USW) Local 1976, which represents 800 clerical and intermodal employees, has agreed to a tentative contract agreement with the company. Ratification will take place over the next few weeks.
The current contract was set to expire on December 31, 2012.
