New venture to provide end to end integrated freight service

A new venture, called Integres Global Logistics Inc.,has been launched to transform the $50 billion domestic expedited and international heavy freight transportation industry, say company officials.

The venture combines the capabilities of United and American Airlines, Roadway Express, and UTi Worldwide Inc., and uses transportation management technology from Unisys.

Integres provides an end-to-end integrated freight service that uses Web-based portal and other technologies.
