Panalpina appoints Senior V-P Canada

Panalpina has appointed Giuseppe Arba as Senior Vice-President for Canada. The appointment represents a key element of the growth plans for Panalpina’s North America Region, headquartered in San Francisco, says the company.

“Giuseppe Arba has extensive experience in the Asia market, as well as Europe. That is important for us as they are both major trade markets for Canada, and we are aggressively expanding our business volumes in those regions. He will also play a major role in the expansion of our transborder USA and NAFTA business,” said David Beatson, Regional CEO.

Arba has been with Panalpina for over 25 years, beginning his career in Switzerland. He is familiar with the Canada market, having worked here as ocean manager for several years. He will be based in the Canada Area’s main office in Toronto, Ontario.
