RailHawk Transportation System to provide relief in planning and operations

Supply chain and transportation management company Transentric has introduced RailHawk(TM), an enterprise-wide rail transportation software system that aims to increase efficiency for rail operations through improved information availability and work flow.

Formerly known as the Transportation Control System (TCS), RailHawk will interface with Transentric’s YardHawk system to provide a complete enterprise rail solution.

The RailHawk software solution is designed to give users a high degree of visibility for advance planning, increased customer service through better reporting, real-time decision support, and improvements in cars and locomotive asset utilization.
RailHawk lends control to all aspects of railroad operations including billing and rating, car and train movement, empty car distribution, freight car scheduling, inventory control, car cycle inquiries, intermodal system, locomotive scheduling and maintenance, work order management and interline shipment monitoring.

The software is designed to run on a client/main frame server making it compatible for all systems. The product is now available as a licensed or hosted application.
