Reimer expands service to Atlantic Canada

by Canadian Shipper

Reimer Express Lines Ltd. of Canada is expanding its LTL operations to provide service to all points in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland, effective December the 3rd, 2001.

Reimer says this expansion into the Atlantic Provinces complements service already provided to customers in every other province across Canada and, in conjunction with their parent company, Roadway Express, will now give shippers in Atlantic Canada access to a seamless transportation network that moves freight between Canada and all 50 states in the U.S., as well as throughout Mexico.

“The decision to expand into Atlantic Canada underscores our belief that customers want to utilize a carrier who can provide regular, expedited and guaranteed freight transportation services throughout all of North America,” says Allan N. Robison, President & CEO of Reimer Express Lines Ltd.

The new service offers two levels of delivery options for shipments moving across Canada and features 5 day transit times for expedited shipments moving between points in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia and major cities in Alberta and British Columbia.

For shipments moving to or from the U.S. or Mexico, Reimer Express also offers guaranteed delivery on a specific day and even within a specific hour.
