U.S. Cargo Sales Joint Venture headquarters opens in Atlanta

Air France, Delta AirLines and Korean Air have announced the opening of the U.S. Cargo Sales Joint Venture world headquarters in Atlanta, GA and full operations are expected by January 2002.

The Joint Venture offers cargo customers the benefits of a combined sales force, a centralized reservation and service center, a comprehensive route network and a common product line. There will also be branches in 14 locations throughout the U.S. and regional offices in Atlanta, New York, Chicago and Los Angeles.

The headquarters itself is an 11,000-square-foot office featuring a cargo reservations call center and is staffed by an international team of 56 people – including the Joint Venture officers and Finance, Human Resources, Revenue Management, Marketing and Technical Support.

The company is equally owned by Air France, Delta and Korean Air and is governed by a joint Board of Directors.
