Flexport launches fulfillment services in Canada and the United Kingdom

Flexport has launched its first international fulfillment services in Mississauga and Manchester, expanding its end‑to‑end logistics network into markets where its customers already sell. According to the announcement, the new facilities allow brands to store inventory in market and fulfill orders domestically while using the same platform and account teams they rely on for freight and customs.

The company says customers can now manage freight, customs and delivery through one provider, with orders and returns staying entirely within Canada and the United Kingdom. Flexport can clear customs directly in both countries.

In the announcement, Flexport founder and CEO Ryan Petersen said customers have long needed a better way to serve demand in these markets.

“Our customers built demand in Canada and the UK long before they had a good way to serve it,” Petersen said.

The Mississauga facility is located near Toronto Pearson International Airport and holds Health Canada certifications for medical products, supplements and consumer goods. Inbound receiving began in July 2026, with outbound orders starting in September.

In the United Kingdom, Flexport’s fulfillment services operate from two partner‑run facilities in Manchester equipped with AutoStore automated storage and retrieval systems. The systems use robots to move across a grid of stacked bins and bring inventory to human pickers, reducing aisle walking and increasing storage density.

Flexport plans to expand its fulfillment network into continental Europe in 2027, where it already operates freight and customs services.
