Fillogic is teaming up with Simon Property Group to launch more tech-enabled micro distribution hubs at retail properties. The company will be opening Fillogic Hubs at the Livingston Mall, in Livingston, New Jersey, and Gloucester Premium Outlets, in Grenlock, New Jersey. The latter will be the company’s first location at an open air or outlet centre. One of these new locations is also Fillogic’s largest hub by square feet.
PiVAL has selected the 3Gtms TMS system to further automate its freight brokerage services. Montreal-based PiVAL specializes in warehousing and transportation management. PiVAL initially selected the 3Gtms TMS system to launch its managed transportation services division, which was introduced in 2019.
Stretch wrapper and case handling equipment manufacturer Lantech, LLC has partnered with Rees Machinery Group, combining Lantech’s expertise in case and tray handling equipment with RMGroup’s robotic automation systems. RMGroup, Ltd provides analysis, recommendation and implementation of packaging and automation solutions across the UK and overseas.
Delta Cargo has partnered with online payment platform PayCargo and Unisys to offer customers an additional option to pay for their shipments’ destination charges. The new service for cargo shipments that originated internationally and delivered throughout the U.S. is available now. PayCargo’s system automates data flows, eliminates the need to send paper checks and enables same-day release of cargo.
Transplace has acquired ScanData Systems, Inc., a provider of parcel transportation management solutions (PTMS). ScanData’s solution manages carrier selection, booking, label printing, tracking, invoice reconciliation and Business Intelligence reporting, and is specialized for parcel shippers with extremely high volumes and complex shipping rules. ScanData’s PTMS capabilities will be integrated into Transplace’s Transportation Management System (TMS) and broader logistics platform.
Interroll reports a large order received from a major e-commerce platform in North America. The order includes the supply of vertical crossbelt sorter systems for 12 locations and amounts to a double-digit million US dollar volume. The sorter systems will be installed at both new and existing end user facilities throughout the United States.
